About Tim Kay
Tim has authored scores of Briefs for the Court of Appeals, authored numerous and successful Petitions for Review to the Supreme Court, has appeared several times before the Supreme Court of the State of Wisconsin for oral arguments, and has represented clients all the way to the United States Supreme Court.
Timothy is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and belongs to actively participates in several sections, including: General Practice, Municipal, and Government Law. Kay previously served on the Membership Committee. Also, Tim is a member of the Waukesha County Bar and has received permission to present cases to the United States Supreme Court.
Since 1990, Tim has played an active role both on the Board and the Legal Committee for the Okauchee Lake Sailing Club and was elected as the Club’s President, or Commodore, from 1998 through 2000. While serving as legal counsel for the Yacht Club, Tim helped oversee the expansion of the Club's conditional use and acted as the Registered Agent.

Tim is also the longest serving President for the Oconomowoc Sports Booster Club and has been an active member since 2005. The Oconomowoc Sports Booster Club is a non-profit organization which raises over $100,000 annually to donate to all Oconomowoc area athletics. In addition, Tim served on the Oconomowoc High School Athletic Task Force. He is a past board member, president, and legal advisor for Parents of Oconomowoc Youth Football. He is also a member of the Okauchee Area Business Association. Tim formally served on the Oconomowoc School District Advisory Board as Ambassador of the "Time to Reinvest in Children" Committee and School Referendum. The referendum was passed, which allowed for the building of two additional middle schools in the lake country area as well as a new fieldhouse and a new auditorium for the Oconomowoc School District. Tim has also ben invited to present a seminar on life after high school to students at Oconomowoc High School, as an upstanding, professional member of the community.
Tim has previously represented such organizations as the Law Enforcement Chaplains, a non-profit organization. He was a judge participant to the Wisconsin High School Mock Trial Tournament, and Oconomowoc’s Junior High Mock Trial Tournament. Tim and his family are members of St. Catherine of Alexandria in Oconomowoc. Tim has been interviewed by and has also been a guest commentator for Fox News Network & Wisconsin Public Radio. In an interview with Bill O’Reilly from The O’Reilly Factor, Bill stated, "...You are a very smart lawyer, we’ve checked you out alright, you are a very smart guy." "You are a good lawyer and a smart guy."
